The yarns that compose them

Alpaca wool comes from a camelid that lives in the Andes mountain range in South America, similar to the llama (another camelid that lives in the Andes), but without a hump. Alpaca wool is warm and soft. The cotton comes from India and Tanzania (it’s the same cotton used in our organic cotton socks). Do they sting? After the first wash the socks become even softer, but they are already very soft to begin with. I recommend that those who are particularly sensitive to the contact of wool wear a pair of cotton socks next to the skin. They keep their color. Alpaca wool is less resistant to abrasion, so we added cotton to make more resistant socks.
