The yarns that compose them

Sheep’s wool comes from South America, alpaca wool comes from a camelid that lives in the Andes mountain range in South America, similar to the llama (another camelid that lives in the Andes), but without a hump.

The cotton comes from India and Tanzania (it’s the same cotton used in our organic cotton socks).

After the first wash the socks become even softer.

I recommend that those who are particularly sensitive to the contact of wool with their skin wear a pair of cotton socks. They keep their color.

Sheep’s wool is more resistant to chafing, so we added cotton and hemp to make soft, very warm (sheep + alpaca) and resistant (cotton + hemp) socks.
